My love of interiors and blending of styles was cultivated at a young age. I was 10 when I started to rearrange the furniture and eclectic possessions that my family accumulated through all our moves between Mexico, Utah, Montana and Southern California. As a young adult I spent time in New York City, learning about art, architecture and being mentored by my cousin who was an incredible artist and textile designer before returning to the northwest to continue my interior design work.
These experiences have shaped our philosophy at Allison Smith Design to create homes and spaces that tell a story that is uniquely yours and unlike anyone else.
Your design style defines your home and creates a set of building blocks to create from. It is a useful tool in determining all kinds of design aspects: color palettes, finishes, patterns, you name it. Take the quiz to find out what style best fits you.
