Shanghai is a bustling big city with historical buildings nestled in with sprawling skyscrapers. Allison was asked to create a model unit that would feel like home for the expatriates living and working along the Yangtze River Delta. With industrial bones, this 12 story apartment building needed a little softening around the edges. Keeping in tune with Shanghai’s theme of old and new, Allison opted for some traditional and post-industrial finishes in her modern design.
