Shanghai is a bustling big city with historical buildings nestled in with sprawling skyscrapers.  Allison was asked to create a model unit that would feel like home for the expatriates living and working along the Yangtze River Delta.  With industrial bones, this 12 story apartment building needed a little softening around the edges.  Keeping in tune with Shanghai’s theme of old and new, Allison opted for some traditional and post-industrial finishes in her modern design.  Warm hardwood flooring, painted brick, exposed concrete, and marble tile round-out her one-of-a-kind design.   For more on this latest adventure in China, head over to the Blog.
